October 6th Day Collection Total Business Box Office Report
Shoojit Sircar’s movie ‘October’ is running at the box office with maintaining consistency in its performance. The film’s business grew by Rs 2.61 crore on 5th day and the total collection earned in five days was reported to be Rs 25.56 crore. The Hindi celluloid has crossed Rs 27 crore mark at the worldwide box office in 5 days. It is expected to enter Rs 30 crore club in coming days.
Featuring Gitanjali Rao and Banita Sandhu in the main roles, the Bollywood flick kicked off its box office journey on an average note. Though the film was expected to earn Rs 10 crore as per the experts’ predictions on opening day, it earned Rs 5.04 crore income on 1st day of release. It was day 2 when the film saw an amazing growth in the theatre occupancy and also witnessed an unexpected hike in its earnings. On 2nd day, the Bollywood film earned Rs 7.47 crore collection at box office.
Varun Dhawan starrer Hindi flick received steady public response on third day and made a collection of Rs 7.74 crore at the box office. By the end of third day of release, ‘October’ movie minted a total income of Rs 20.52 crore at India’s box office. After crossing Rs 20 crore benchmark in three days, the Hindi celluloid faced sharp decline in the theatre occupancy on 4th day and made a business of Rs 2.42 crore at Bollywood Box Office.
Apart from grossing an average income at the domestic box office, the romantic comedy celluloid received moderate response from the foreign audiences and made a business of Rs 1.75 crore in the overseas market. The Indian offering received highest response from the audiences in United Kingdom and made a collection of Rs 1.15 crore at UK Box Office. The film earned Rs 0.18 crore in Australia and Rs 0.06 crore in New Zealand.
