Witnessing decent occupancy on opening day, newly released Hindi celluloid ‘Galti Sirf Tumhari’ continued to receive dull response from the audiences on 2nd day of its release. Featuring Riya Agarwal, Mayank Rajput and Poonam Pandey in the major roles, the comedy offering did not showcase any growth in its performance at India’s box office. Facing steady occupancy in the morning shows on day 2, the Bollywood movie collected poor earnings.
On 1st Saturday, the romance comedy drama opened to 0.5% occupancy in the morning shows. As the film received mixed reviews from critics, audiences seem to have not shown any interest in watching film in cinema halls. However, the celluloid witnessed moderate number of footfalls in the theatres and multiplexes across the country. Though it was half day, the movie experienced no surge in the public response in noon and evening shows.
Produced under the banner of ‘Shree Sai Cine Vision’, the latest Hindi film raked in comparatively low income on second day. Sarika Sanjot’s production didn’t meet filmmakers’ expectation of earning a satisfactory business at Bollywood box office. The family entertainer failed to attract a big number of audience in central and north Indian states. Facing severe box office competition with new South Indian cinemas, the Bollywood offering opened to decent response on day 2.
Taking poor start to the box office journey in domestic arena, the Indian celluloid showcased no progress in its performance in the foreign countries. Failing to divulge the attention of spectators in overseas’ multiplexes and cinema halls, the Hindi flick collected approx 0.002 crore on day 2. Public response remained steady for movie in evening and night shows. Experiencing failure in grabbing the attention of masses in the cinema halls, the film is expected to indulge into high box office competition with the upcoming Bollywood movies which are scheduled to hit screens next week.
